Transform Your Rich Content Into Intelligent Assets

By leveraging Autonomy IDOL, Autonomy's Rich Media Management solution automatically extracts the key concepts found in rich media files. Marketers can quickly find the most effective rich media asset to use in their latest campaign by searching through the repository based on concepts, keywords, and automatically-generated metatags. Uniquely, Autonomy delves deep within the audio and video file itself rather than relying on human-defined metatags which are subjective and limited in scope. It then provides a highly-detailed, time-encoded, comprehensive range of data that marketers can search through and find relevant content with pinpoint accuracy.

Rich Media Management Drives Multichannel Success

Autonomy Virage MediaBin, the core component of Autonomy's Rich Media Management solution, provides the infrastructure to ingest and deliver rich media to all communication channels, including web, mobile, print, call center, and social networks. In addition, MediaBin enables users to access assets from any environment such as InDesign, Illustrator, Final Cut, SharePoint, and web content management systems (e.g. Autonomy TeamSite), including content that is on-premise or in the cloud.

By leveraging Autonomy’s meaning-based technology, Autonomy Virage automatically extracts and forms a conceptual and contextual understanding of the key concepts found in rich media assets to deliver advanced analytics, automatic categorization, summarization, concept clouds, dynamic content associations, content hyperlinking and business process and workflow optimization. Assets now can be viewed in context with other content under management, both within the extended enterprise, across social networks, and across an internet search. Rich media assets can be found, reused and understood as easily as text, and automatically cross-referenced with any other form of relevant information. By understanding the meaning contained within an asset, relationships are discovered and assets can be dynamically associated to each other.

Autonomy offers an advanced rich media management solution to efficiently store, categorize, manage, retrieve and distribute digital assets including digital images, video, audio and other formats within the enterprise. For creative marketers, Autonomy Virage speeds and simplifies the production of variations for different media, different software programs, and special purposes.

    Video Analysis

Autonomy provides world-leading video analysis technologies for video specialists such as broadcasters and security and surveillance professionals, as well as enterprises wishing to leverage content from recorded meetings, events and webcasts. By automating a number of key video processing operations, Autonomy removes a vast amount of manual effort traditionally involved in repurposing and extracting value from content and consequently generates significant ROI.

Uniquely, Autonomy delves deep within the video file itself rather than relying on human-defined metatags which are subjective and limited in scope. It then provides a highly detailed, time-encoded, comprehensive range of data which IDOL itself or users themselves can search through and find relevant content with pinpoint accuracy. The full range of IDOL's functions can be performed on video content and video can be automatically cross-referenced with any other form of information.

  •
  • Deep Video Indexing (DVI) advanced features

DVI uniquely tackles the challenge of asset identification and management through its use of a cascade application method that layers technology analytics in creating a unique fingerprint for all video assets. This fingerprint is a flexible representation of the asset whose characteristics can be extracted or can be used to determine similarities between assets. Due to this unique, flexible mode of asset representation within the IDOL conceptual index, many of the challenges that traditionally plague the video medium are overcome. Such issues as spherical distortion, artifacts from low resolution transcoding, screen inclusion (i.e. assets within assets), audio distortions and audio mismatching (e.g. translations, misalignment) do not affect the integrity of the representation.

Autonomy provides the industry’s leading solution for:
